Dear combatants,
we call on you to demonstrate “For Solidarity and free Education” on
Thursday the 17th of November at 11 a.m. on the Luisenplatz.
We see ourselves as a part of the global movements for real democracy and
a solidly united community. We’ll fight against capitalistic power
structures.
For this purpose a critical and self-determined education is an essential
condition.
That’s why we want to show up our alternatives against the established
educational and social system:
• Self-determined life, studies and work, instead of inflexible
time-frames, competition pressure and pressure to perform.
• Free entry to education and apprenticeship without selection on marks,
social and cultural origins.
• Abolition of every educational fee such as tution fees, fees for
apprenticeships and fees for the kindergarten.
• Public financial support for the educational system without economic
influence in the content of teaching, study structures and living areas.
• Democratization and consolidation of the joint- and self-management in
every educational institution and living areas.
We understand this demonstration as the beginning of a protest, which just
exists because of the people who design it.
