The AStA (german: der Allgemeine Studierenden Ausschuss) is not a service provider, but rather the political representative body for students at TU Darmstadt.

The AStA’s services are tailored to the issues faced by students, particularly those from minority groups.
In addition to “helping students to help themselves” through peer support, the AStA offers opportunities for collaboration and qualified legal counseling. Furthermore, the AStA supports and guides students in addressing existing issues through political engagement.
